Meet IFPC’s New Statewide
Salt & Light Ministry Director
"Jen and I have been married for 7 years, and so far we’ve been blessed with one 2-year-old son, Mason. Jen (from Montezuma, IA) and I (from Cedar Falls) met at the University of Northern Iowa through our mutual involvement with a couple different college ministry programs on campus. Prior to Mason joining our family, Jen taught school, directed a local crisis pregnancy center, and headed a child care center and preschool at our church. Now she’s at home with Mason, doing the most important and most fulfilling work of her life."
"Prior to joining IFPC, I was the college ministry director at our church in Cedar Falls, and I recently ran a barely unsuccessful campaign for the Iowa House of Representatives. I am currently pursuing a master’s degree in transformational leadership from Bethel Seminary in St. Paul. I love sports and politics and am excited about Truth."
"With seven years of full time ministry and my first political campaign under my belt I am more convinced than ever that the waywardness of our culture won’t be fixed by political parties or secular campaigns. Rather, reforming the marketplace of ideas and bringing righteousness to the public square will depend solely on God’s power working through those of his people who are brave enough and determined enough to informed and get engaged. Toward this end, I’m excited to work with believers and church leaders around the state as we cultivate Salt & Light Ministries all over Iowa. If I can be of any help to you as you strive to implement a Salt & Light Ministry in your church or community, please do not hesitate to be in touch!"
