Prayer Requests

“When you pray, rather let your heart be
without words than your words
without heart.” ~ John Bunyan

On-going IFPC Prayer Requests:
  • Pray for God to provide wisdom and favor for future IFPC projects.
  • Pray for God’s righteousness in our State and Federal courts.
  • Pray for IFPC Board and LDC members and their extended families; that God would bless them spiritually, physically and financially.
  • Pray that God's people will be moved to serve in the political arena.
  • Pray for: The Christian Attorney Network (CAN) to help Christian attorneys from across the state find fellowship, support and unity.
  • Pray for: Iowa to be successful in defending our state's definition of marriage against the Lambda Legal lawsuit seeking same-sex "marriage" in Iowa.

Special Requests from the IFPC Team:

Chris Nitzschke Photo

  Chris Nitzschke-- Director of Operations
  • Praise: Praise God for the opportunity to serve at IFPC as Operations Director. He has been so faithful in opening up doors for me to walk through. Praise God for our faithful volunteers and friends throughout the state that support us in their offerings, both prayer and financial.
  • Prayer: That we would not grow weary in our task to encourage the church to engage the culture and government. That our zeal would not wane to reach out to those that have bought into the lies of the world. That we would courageously and articulately speak the truth in love to the people of Iowa, to both friends and those that seek to tear us down.
  • Personal Requests: That I would trust in the Lord with all of my heart, not leaning on my own understanding. And that I would be quick to acknowledge all of the things that He has done in my life, and that I would reflect the grace and justice that flows from Him.

  • Praise: For the ease with which appoints have come, and that they’re fitting together perfectly with times and locations.
  • Praise: Iowans are excited about the direction we’re headed with PRC and Salt.
