Iowa’s Pastors’ Resource Council exists because IFPC recognizes the influential and authoritative role pastors play in shaping the worldview of the Church and culture. We want to serve pastors by keeping them informed of Biblical issues at the statehouse and in the community. IFPC also seeks to equip pastors to lead their congregations in a way that promotes Godly citizenship and strengthens family values in our state and nation.
Pastors who sign up to be part of our Pastors' Resource Council agree to:
Teach, preach, and inform their congregation(s) about family-oriented issues from a Biblical perspective.
Cultivate a lay-led Salt & Light Ministry within their congregation(s), which will help the congregation pursue Godly citizenship through the dissemination of information and the promotion of civic involvement around pro-family issues.
Model Godly citizenship through personal involvement in civic matters, so congregation members can see what it means to be a Godly citizen.
Pastors who sign up to be part of our Pastors' Resource Council will receive:
Regular updates from IFPC about issues affecting Iowa's families.
Invitations to participate in informational events and/or seminars specifically for pastors.
Prayers from IFPC's "Pastor's Prayer Network"
Ideas and strategies for successful lay-led Salt and Light Ministries (we’ll even help implement them if you want).
Our commitment to get you whatever you need or do whatever it takes to help you promote Godly citizenship in you congregation!
